Exercise for Anxiety

Many are working to manage anxiety during this time of uncertainty, and athletes are no exception. While some unfortunately go undiagnosed and we continue to work to reduce the stigma, exercise can help to manage anxiety and the associated physical symptoms.

Psychology Today recently shared research and advice on the effectiveness of reducing anxiety through exercise, for example jogging. Read the full story here, and try incorporating some routine movement, such as a brisk walk (bonus points if you have a dog, as they will absolutely benefit from and enjoy the extra quality time with their bestie outdoors)!.
